Hi, I’m Shannon.

I built Fika Beauty with my business partner Annie, and I lead it as CEO. Today it’s two profitable salons in Ottawa and a team of 22, including 17 hairstylists. I’m also a mom, so every system I build has to work when I’m not in the building.

I learned all of it the hard way. The hire who looked perfect on paper. The apprentice who left right when she got good. The pay structure that rewarded the wrong things. Each lesson became a system, and those systems are what Daney teaches.

Why Daney? Daney is my mom’s nickname, and the yellow rose is her favourite flower. This brand is personal, and I want every owner I work with to feel supported, seen and sure of their next move.
